Systems Engineer

What you will be doing?
In this role, the systems engineer will be responsible to support numerous challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission. This program delivers important technical solutions and products using emerging technologies for processing significantly large amounts of data.  Program technical areas include commercial cloud technologies, high performance computing, and enterprise architecture.  This is a growing, high-profile program where we are looking for top talent to support our client.

Specific skills needed to perform well in this role:
  • Ability to provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of all components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis, and functional allocation.
  • Ability to conduct systems requirements reviews.
  • Must be able to develop concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures.
  • Perform technical/non-technical assessment and management, as well as end-to-end flow analysis
  • Must work effectively independently and with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Punctuality – must show up and perform
What will you need for this job? Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph  
  • Years Experience / Degree:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of system engineering experience, minimum. 
    • Additional years of experience and/or degrees may qualify for higher levels.
Labor Category requirements may vary with the level of experience and education.  The salary range listed below is inclusive of all levels associated with this labor category.

Salary Range:    $100,000 - $195,000

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, contractual requirements and may fall outside of this range.

What will differentiate you from other candidates?
  • Background or previous employment in the design or manufacturing process of semiconductors (Intel, Samsung, etc.)
  • Experience focused on research connected to future tech, collaborating with vendors to understand their roadmaps and the connection to the tools being used by the customer.
