Join a high-performance, agile team supporting a critical intelligence program with an immediate opening for a Database Engineer / Administrator. You'll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing database systems that support fast-paced, real-timed missions at the heart of national security.
What You’ll Do
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Oracle databases and Oracle Streams replication in a DevOps + Agile SAFe environment.
- Conduct disaster recovery, turning, and performance optimization
- Design and manage data structures for optimal query and storage efficiency
- Manage data integrity, availability, and security across mission-critical systems
- Support system updates, IAVA patching, and incident resolution
- Write and maintain efficient SQL and PL/SQL scripts
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator
- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience
- Bonus: Bachelor's degree in a technical field
